Sean's Place Sponsors 2022, 2023, and 2024

MATS Consultancy have done it again!

Not only did our Director help Debbie Rogers with the initial set up of Sean's Place, understanding the need for additional mental health support services within the Liverpool City Region, having struggled herself with mental health issues, but wanting to stand by a very worthy founder to create something in memory of her beloved brother Sean, who sadly took his own life.

We are proud to continue to sponsor the lounge at the site on Linacre Lane in Bootle, Merseyside for the third year in a row, and hope to continue with this relationship for many years to come.

Debbie posted on her LinkedIn profile at the end of 2023:

We have supported over 3000 men this year, we provided 2912 counselling sessions and 780 social activities to men across Merseyside including mindfulness, art, fishing, quiz nights, cookery classes, music, training courses, Hypnotherapy, bereavement groups and lots more.

We had visits from both Andy Burnham and Steve Rotherham and introduced our new Patron Ian Puelston- Davies.

We also were supported by our incredible fundraisers whose donations were cruical to keeping our service running this included this an incredible donation from Andys Smile, marathon runners, special events, mountain climbers, raffles, golf days, bingo nights, donut sales, and lots more. We are incredibly grateful and so proud of all our incredible fundraisers this year.

We were also donated to from families who had sadly lost a loved one this year who chose Sean's Place as their chosen place for donations to be received. Thank you from us all 🩵

We were granted funding from The National Lottery, Steve Morgan Foundation, John Moores Foundation, Sefton CVS, Angling Trust, Vola, Frank Rogers and Merseycare which has enabled us to grown our team and provide more support than ever before.

Our amazing sponsors continued to support us too Excel Housing, SolidTek, MATS Consultancy, Carpenter Group, Extraordinary Collective.

We also introduced new roles within our team to meet the demand of our community, including a new Suicide Prevention Officer, an additional therapist, and an Activities coordinator.

We honestly can't thank everyone enough who walked through our doors this year and trusted us at your most vulnerable times or those who supported us to keep our service running, or our amazing team who work so hard every day to keep our service The best it can be.

Next year, we have so much more planned, so if you would like to get involved by accessing our support or fundraising for us, please get in touch.
